It seems like the Large Industrial Piles have been removed or nerfed in Update 5. They're now Ground-only, non-Solid (so you can't build anything atop them). Large Warehouse works, but they're two units tall.

Is there a way to actually "complete" the cave of wonders? I'm going for the achievement of completing all underground stuff before sol 100, and it's super annoying you can't actually finish everything.

I know I’m late but I see there isn’t a time limit on objective this version now you have up until a certain time to do the first 4 objectives

33:30 and this bug still exists. its especially annoying with the bots as they seem to wait until they completely run out of power like less then 10% before charging only to pathfind to the furthest away charging station in a very long and slow walk of shame while walking by dozens of available ones. they even continue working (hauling materials) while uncharged again walking past every available charger. When i look at all the chargers on my map there are never more then 25% being used at any time with the other 75% just burning power even though they are supposed to be idle yet bots are still walking around and taking long distance hauling jobs with low battery which is absolutely inexcusable. I wish there were restriction path tiles like check points to filter who can pass such as allow bots only (for job sites that involve building in bad water) and restrictions for hunger, water and charge levels as sometimes there are build sites that involve long distance hauling and i want to ban bots from continuing unless they have at least 50% charge otherwise they just waste time and will not charge while carrying something and occupy a job where an actual productive worker could have completed 10 times the work.

you sholdn't elimante a food source. instead, set up a different farm for each food type and supply it with storage. the beavers will elect to have a variety of foods and their improved diet will increase the buffs from their wellness score. (exception to this is if you really struggling for space/fertile land, or beavers as each farm requires workers, sometimes it's "easiest" to max out a single food source. beavers won't die but they won't be super healthy, either. the cumulative buffs from all the decorations/welnness items and diet, etc will make the beavers work better though so it's usuallu best to ADD a second or third food type rather than replace a crop with something else (again, a few exceptions to this). EX: if a badtide wiped out your tree farms and your main food source has required COOKING the food items and your now short on wood, it is sometimes appropriate to switch to a WEAKER food source that doesn't require additional processing.

Have you looked into the water trigger mods? They allow you to set floodgate heights and pump activation based on stream gauge values, which would really simplify your setup. To increase the depth of your reservoirs, you can use the metal floodgates mod. And the supertall stream gauge. You can also use vertical power shafts to minimise the footprint of your power network.
